After creating the character model for our game I went through a range of different animations on Mixamo for a bit of fun to see how the character moved, after watching some of the movements It has inspired a range of different ideas for images that could be created with them like with number 5 and 6 they could be cosmos being chased by the robots, 1,7 and 8 could be set floating in space and 2,3 an 4 could be holding a range of items. With these in mind they would be giving our character more characteristics and life making them more interesting to attract attention from our audience.

To be able to choose our favourite designs I will be tracing over these images and adding suitable assets and background images to fulfil the scenario I have imagined for each pose. As these will be rough sketches, I will be adding base colours to each sketch to make sure the colour combination blends in with the character and follows the colour pallet we agree with.

For the first image I decided to go with the first pose and create an in-space environment with cosmos holding onto parts of a ship. For this I have used the images on the left as a reference to create the final sketch in the middle. For the scale of the picture I have measured it up to best suit a full front t-Shirt and giving myself a boarder to work with.
To make sure my designs are right for a t-shirt I have set the image to the scale to fit and after testing it the design works really well with a dark blue, as for the second version of the design I decided to play around with filter settings and by changing the layer to Luminosity it switched the colours to fade into a lighter shade of blue which also works well on the shirt. For cost wise as this only used one colour the second shirt would be the cheapest to print out of the two.

To show off what we have already created I decided to apply art work and 3D models to the t-shirts with the game logo to create a more branded set of designs, with this I mostly took an image I liked, adjusted how it would fit and made the image layer into a screen so that it would sit over the t-shirt example.
For the first design I used the concept drawing I did of the character and as it had a galactic background It created a fuller printed T-shirt that could be pre-dyed before the image is printed on top, this made to be a more interesting design. With the other two t-shirts I did the same but with a basic colour. Later on I will be looking to develop more ideas and looking into applying the same to the first t-shirt in this set with a galaxy full print colour.
